Experience with HAVN: Deposit Not Returned Positive: - Negative: Experience with HAVN Holiday Homes Rental LLC: I won’t go into details about the apartment—any positives are overshadowed by how HAVN operates. At check-in, I was asked to pay a 500 AED security deposit that was supposed to be refunded. After a month and a half of messaging with them and providing every piece of information they requested, the deposit still hasn’t been returned. I left the apartment in excellent condition and complied with all their rules. They never reported any damages or claims; instead, I kept receiving the same generic replies that “the refund will be processed.” I documented everything: took photos and videos at both check-in and check-out, and reported any issues I noticed, sending photos via their WhatsApp. Another point is personal data collection. HAVN insisted on copies of all guests’ passports, as well as a phone number and email. I can’t prove a connection, but after my stay I started getting calls from Indonesian numbers and there were attempts to compromise my WhatsApp account, which raises serious concerns about how customer data is handled. Bottom line: based on my experience, you shouldn’t count on getting your deposit back with HAVN. If you still decide to book, thoroughly document the apartment’s condition with photos/videos at check-in and check-out, and be cautious about sharing personal data. I’m very disappointed—this is not the kind of behavior I expected in Dubai.

Easy check in, clean apartment! Exceptional Positive: Host was super friendly, room was clean and exactly as per the photos, and the instructions to check in were simple! I’d needed extra towels and within 2 hours, the host arranged that for me. Special thanks to Ynah for making me feel at home despite staying for 1 night. I’ll come back! Negative: Nothing
